Last Work Day

Back to my last post, I am both seniors. On one hand I'm so ready to graduate and get out of town but on the other I'm stressing myself out trying to get projects done and know for sure that I'm graduating.

Stress level through the roof

16 days left til graduation. There are two types of Seniors when last deadlines are coming, ones excited to graduate and get out of school but the other is worried about their grades and finals. (Forgot to post this on 5/4/16)

Yesterday I went to the street fair on 4th Ave. and took multiple pictures of the event that I will be posting on my online portfolio later this week.

Spring Break Fail

Unfortunately, I could not go out and take pictures of the categories I needed for my portfolio due to having to babysit my little sister and not having a car seat to take her with me. But here's a picture I took this morning from the student parking lot.

Portfolio Update

Currently I have not taken any photos of anything other than sunsets and nature. I'm planning on going around Tucson over Spring Break and take pictures of the categories I need (urban and people). I plan on keeping this blog updated with new pictures on my portfolio.

Sunday

Oh Sunday. Doesn't everyone love them? Weekend fun ending. Weekday stress beginning. Luckily, next week is Spring Break, which means, less stress.. somewhat, and more time to focus on my projects.

No more procrastination.

Staying in on a Friday night usually means Netflix and junk food. In my case, it means homework, homework and more homework. The life of a senior isn't an easy one, ESPECIALLY if you have a bad case of "Senioritis" or if you simply love procrastinating. If anyone has either of these cases, I suggest you to GET YOUR LIFE TOGETHER... I should probably take my own advice.

Drowning in work.

Lately, I have really been slacking on my assignments. The only class I really keep up with is College Algebra. I should really be focused on my Senior English class since I'm failing and that is a big NO for me. I'm thinking of getting a planner to organize my day and determine what I can slack off a little bit on and what I have to get done ASAP.

Updating Portfolio

Thirteen days into the 20% project and all I've gotten done so far is editing my online portfolio (http://lilymvega16.wix.com/lmvphotography). I haven't posted anything because I have been editing it to my standards and getting the categories I need to fill with pictures. Another reason why I haven't done much is "Senioritis". The thought of knowing that there's 73 school days left until graduation can get someone to think there's still enough time to get things done rather than getting them done right then and there.

Senior year isn't easy people. Searching for the right college, wondering how you're going to pay for schooling, and grades can make someone procrastinate on things every now and then. But from now on I will work on my website daily (unless I have another priority to take care of).

This is a picture I took while I was out on a walk with my family and I plan on posting this picture on my online portfolio.
